WYTHEVILLE, VA – The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), are excited to announce a new affiliation with the Iron City Forge based in Pittsburgh, PA, members of the American Premier Hockey League (APHL).
The APHL is a competitive Senior A semi-professional league featuring teams across the northern and central United States. This new affiliation marks a strategic move for the Bobcats as they build a deeper talent pipeline and strengthen development opportunities.
“We are excited about working with the Iron City Forge organization and establishing a true feeder system for the Bobcats,” said Bobcats Vice President Jimmy Milliken. “With the FPHL continuing to grow in both teams and talent, this partnership—along with our recently announced affiliation with the Toronto Flyers Junior Team—positions us to stay competitive and continue finding fresh talent.”
The Blue Ridge Bobcats remain committed to player development and providing opportunities for athletes to advance within the professional hockey ranks.
