There is parking just outside the front doors of the arena. It is first come, first serve. All parking is Free.
Who is owns the Iron City Forge?
Matthew De Lozier is the owner of the hockey team and also runs the day-to-day operations.
Are the Iron City Forge an expansion team or a rebrand?
The Iron City Forge were an Expansion Team for the 2024/25 season. After submitting the application in July 2024, the American Premier Hockey League approved the expansion the following month.
What league do the Forge play in?
The American Premier Hockey League (APHL) is a Premier Senior A/Semi-Pro Hockey League.
Where do the players come from?
The Forge recruit players from Western PA and surrounding areas to field the best team each season. Players also come from our Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) affiliate, the Blue Ridge Bobcats (Wytheville, VA).
Is the team involved in the community?
The Iron City Forge is a community-oriented organization and is always looking for ways to give back to our fans and our community. In an effort to grow the team’s connection to the area, the Forge is always accepting appearance requests and volunteer opportunities.
How many games do the Forge Play?
2 Preseason, 24 regular season, and upwards of 11 Postseason games. Between Preseason and Regular Season, 13 are played at home, 13 away. All home games are played Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.
How long does the season last?
The Iron City Forge season runs from October through February. With playoffs, the season could extend into April.
What are the Game Times?
Normal game times are:
Saturday night games start at 8:00 pm.
Sunday afternoon games start at 12:00 pm.
May I bring my camera?
Yes! General “snapshot” cameras are welcome in Frozen Pond Arena. Personal Cameras only; no professional photography or video cameras permitted.
How do I purchase individual tickets?
You can purchase individual tickets online via our website ironcityforge.com. Other ways to buy include at the game (cash only) or by emailing Ticketing@ironcityforge.com. If you wish to buy 10 or more tickets, you can get a group rate! Email the Forge at Ticketing@ironcityforge.com.
